The story behind Kerstlijst.be

Quite a few years ago now, we decided in our family to draw names for the Christmas presents. The idea was simple: you only buy a present for the person you drew. To keep the excitement going, we felt it was crucial that everything stayed strictly secret.

We went looking for a system to exchange wish lists without giving away who had drawn whom. We heard that others sent e-mails around or used forums for this, but we found that rather cumbersome. That's how the idea grew to build a website ourselves where everyone could share their gift ideas: Kerstlijst.be was born.

In the first years the site was reserved for a limited number of families. That allowed the platform to grow steadily into a fully-fledged tool. Since 2010 the site has been open to everyone. After registering, you can immediately create wish lists for your family or circle of friends. We keep regularly updating Kerstlijst.be with handy features.
